We are taking measures to build a conscious business that encourages better consumption and exercises environmentally mindful practise. Mineraleir is striving to meet sustainability goals, quality consistency and originality.

  A brief overview of standards include:

We are a zero plastic enterprise and  use only home compostable plastic across all levels of internal operations (from stone procurement, through to distribution, storage and so on). Our manufacturing facility has gone so far as to prohibit all single use plastic items such as drink bottles, cutlery, straws from entering the premises.

90% of our silver and gold is recycled material and we only source from ethical miners whose extraction methods / labour practices are regulated. In 2021 we intend to lay the foundations for a closed loop system in which old and new customers can offer unwanted jewellery for an assessed amount of store credit.
Our current business model also means we hold little surplus stock, therefore we do not create a need for materials beyond what our customers desire to collect and keep.

Our diamonds and gemstones are exclusively of Natural Origin and untreated; they have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations resolutions and WFDB guidelines.
